Turkeys Palmers specialist turkey suppliers, Frenchbeer Farm, Chagford, maintain the highest welfare standards for their turkeys. The free range bronze and white turkeys roam free in meadows. All their turkeys are special slow growing traditional breeds, which are raised to full maturity. They are fed on a balanced cereal diet that contains no growth promoting additives.
Frenchbeer Farm use traditional, centuries-old production methods - their turkeys are dry plucked and hand finished, before being hung to mature for a minimum of ten days.
Our turkeys are presented in individual carry home boxes. Inside the box, the oven ready turkey is wrapped in greaseproof paper with a sprig of rosemary, vacuum packed giblets, a recipe leaflet with cooking instructions and a Pop-up® cooking timer - everything you need to cook the turkey perfectly!
We are also sourcing free range geese from Bude, in Cornwall, which we believe give an excellent good flavour and tenderness. These are excellent value.
